for the next meeting I started work on a new approach, soft walls, that combine the "extrude" base from the mid-semester presentation model with the more full flowed feel from the riged model in the video above:

The 2nd "Midsemester" presentation

For the midsemester I presented my previous works and the new s.o.
the model and plan were centered on the new part.

Project Part

the graphical criticism was centered on the length of the second part which should be shorter for the final presentation.

Process Part

on cardboard the presentation doesn't look as good ..
for the next presentation it should be layout differently

Layout

the architectural discussion here was centered on the functionality of the recreation area of the s.o. and how such space can make unique areas not available in normal space.
for the next steps i drafted a few sketches to guide me on ...

Later thoughts

Milestone - From midsemester to midsemester

From the model, I realised that the blob should turn in to a flowed passage that should change as it meets the different functions and areas.
for the 2nd midsemester presentation I drawed a new brief of the idea that lead to the plan and model presented latter on.

My thought for the s.o. were a unique and idiosyncratic passage. this passage will create when reaction with different function the campus recreation area.
But the big blob in the plan was un-defined. I tried to express the mass of the passage/s.o./area/blob, in a section model.

the inner space

The midsemester discussion was focused on the s.o. in its properties.
the first step towards the fabrication of the building was a draft on the first floor
